Lennox ALOAMB508-1, Low Ambient Control Kit, for PR, PRP, LRP and Q-Series Packaged Units
Designed for use in ambient temperatures no lower than 40°F. The low ambient control pressure switch cycles the condenser fan, while allowing continuous compressor operation during a cooling demand. This intermittent outdoor fan operation maintains a minimum pressure differential across the expansion device as the ambient.

- Low Ambient Pressure Switch
- Schrader Depressor Tee
- 4” Jumper Wire (discard for heat pump application)
- Relay
- Wiring Harness
Field Supplied:
- All units require one field-provided properly-sized freezestat for use with this kit (part #21D23).
- Outdoor unit must have a compressor crankcase heater (order separately) installed for low ambient operation. Refer to the model’s Technical Specifications to order the required crankcase heater.
NOTE: This kit is suitable only for use with air conditioner units in HFC-410A refrigerant applications.
NOTE: This kit is only suitable for use with Copeland or LG scroll compressors. This kit should not be paired with a rotary compressor.
